LG series plastic straw extruder
Extruder that melts PP and draws it into the hollow plastic straws woven on the beach mat loom. LG55/2 runs 2 straws, LG55/4 runs 4; 55 mm screw, L/D 23:1.

The first step of the line. PP raw material is heated until molten, extruded and drawn out into hollow plastic straws, which are then woven into mat on the beach mat weaving machine.
The LG55/2 produces two straws at a time and the LG55/4 four. Both use a 55 mm screw with a 23:1 length-to-diameter ratio, a 7.5 kW main motor and 15 kW of heating.
